POTW HIGHLIGHTS: Moons with gaping mouths, Picky Eaters & Glamorous Gum Balls!

I'm still here! Do you miss me?! :) Busy, but good week!

Let's highlight last weeks Posts of the Week, shall we? Have I thanked you for humoring me by sharing your posts here? I mean, you guys are the best! Every week I get to learn from a couple of blogs I haven't ever read before! Are you finding new favorite blogs to read? I am loving this! This week has some really amazing posts. I will highlight 3 of them. Make sure you catch up with all the other links HERE, and don't forget to come back tomorrow to add your favorite posts, whether from your own blog or from other blogs you have read, from this week. And again....THANK YOU!

1. "EVERYTHING UNDER THE GAPING-MOUTHED MOON"
This post comes from Mylestones. I just have to say THANK YOU to whoever shared this post! This is a new blog to me. I am a new follower to it! Oh, the writing! She is really quite amazing! This post is beautiful! The concept behind it all, I am sure, is something we have all thought about from time to time. Oh, I loved this post! It is a must read! HERE is the link to it. ENJOY!

2. "HELPFUL TIPS TO APPEASE PICKY EATERS"
And boy did I need this one! This one comes from MakeandTakes.com. This post was really exciting to me! I loved the ideas! Now that I have Mallory I know how stresseful it can be to have a picky eater, who refuses to eat almost everything! It is frustrating for sure. Last week I started including Mallory in cooking with me to see if that would motivate her to try things. IT DID! It totally worked! Then when one of you posted this link to the POTW, I was thrilled! I love the idea of a cook book! This would totally be great for Mallory! I am all over it! I also love the taste testing idea. I wonder how she would respond. Hmmm...going to have to try it. Read the entire post HERE. Such great ideas!

3. "THE GREAT GUM BALL NECKLACE TUTORIAL"
This post is yet another jewel from VintageGingerPeaches.com. I mean seriously...HOW CUTE ARE THESE?! The bracelets, the necklaces! I am TOTALLY making these! What a great gift idea! You MUST check this out HERE!

POTW HIGHLIGHTS: Infertility, Granola & A Fab Workout

Again, another GREAT "Post of the Week"! Thank you all so much for contributing! LOVE IT!

Make sure you got HERE to see all the links that were added! SO GOOD! I mean, Rootbeer Float Cookies?! I am ON IT! Here are a few other faves.........

1. "WHAT I LEARNED"
I loved reading this post so much! Having experienced almost 7 years of fertility appointments, meds, tears, tears and more tears, I totally appreciated this post! Whether you have experienced problems with infertility or not, this is such a great lesson in faith! Read the full post HERE.

2. "CRUNCHY GRANOLA"
I am a total sucker for Granola. Especially home-made! I am TOTALLY checking this recipe out! WHAT A TREAT! While you are over at Everyday Insanity, be sure to check out all the other recipes. OH MY! So many YUMMY things! But be sure to start HERE with the granola!

3. "WOMEN IN THE GYM: Top 10 Mistakes & Recommendations for Improvement"
I totally appreciated this post! I have been working out HARD every day. I absolutely love it! I had a trainer when I lived in Idaho. In Utah, I am relying on classes and instructors to give me the help I need, you know, just to keep things inside a tight budget. I LOVE it! However, I feel like I might be working certain muscle groups too much, etc. This really helped me out! Also, I think sometimes we tend to feel a little lost in our workouts, especially at a gym. When you don't know what to do or how to do it, it is hard to get a really good workout in. AND I absolutely LOVE the idea of changing it up. I used to think I had to run or hit the treadmill everyday. Now I am everywhere from spinning, to yoga, to muscle mix, Hip Hop and much more. AWESOME! I totally think that is the secret to keeping me motivated. It is FUN! That is what it is supposed to be! Anyway, HERE you go!

POTW HIGHLIGHTS: Burning Fat, Reading and Sweater Hearts

Fantastic! I am really loving all the posts being submitted! Keep them coming!

To see all the links submitted click HERE.

A few faves:

1. "BURN FAT FASTER"
Remember our dear Carol Whitaker? You can check out MUCH more from her by clicking on the "fitness" label in the right column. I am SO glad this post was submitted! It is a great reminder and has some really great information about HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Before my move to Utah, this is exactly what my trainer was doing with me. I had lost over 20 lbs in a pretty short amount of time. Yes, it was hard, however, it was CRAZY how great it made me feel. Go HERE to read the rest of the post.

2. "You DO Have Time To Read"
Another post from MMB (Mormon Mommy Blogs). I LOVED this one! The post is by Nancy Campbell Allen, an author. I have to say that I was one of those that didn't read for a VERY long time because I felt like I didn't have time. Oh man, I would feel so guilty if I ever curled up in a comfy chair and lost myself in some book. Guess what, I got over that! Why do we do that?! Why in the world would taking some time for myself make me feel guilty. Oh, we can be silly! :) Be sure to read this post, and then go out an get yourself a good book! :)

3. "SWEET SWEATER HEART TUTORIAL"
This super fun craft is from Your Home Based Mom. Another blog that is new to me, and I have to say, I LOVE THIS IDEA! Be sure to check it out! What a fabulous idea! Go HERE to check out the genius behind this!

This one comes from Vintage Ginger Peaches......a team of women whose creativity knows no bounds!
I loved this idea from Kate. Sometimes undershirts are necessary, but all the extra material can be a PAIN!
We have seen places that sell crop shirts, but Kate teaches us how to quickly and easily make one!
Saving money and making sure it is EXACTLY what you want! LOVE THIS!
Be sure to check it out HERE!

2. CHEWY PRETZEL BITES
This one comes from 3 Sisters Sharing Ideas.......Can I just say yum? I have seen LOADS of yummy recipes from this blog! This one will DEFINATELY be tried at my house this week! I LOVE Pretzel Bites at the Mall, and knowing the reputation of the recipes on this blog, I am sure these are going to be DELISH! Thanks for sharing this one! Go HERE for the recipe!

This one comes from 71 Toes......This is a new blog to me and honestly, I feel like I have been living under a rock forever! How have I not read this blog before?! There is more inspiration and loveliness here than you can shake a stick at! I am a follower! Thanks for sharing this one! :)
I absolutely love this FHE idea! We will definately be throwing this one down at our house next Monday! Just in time for Valentines! What could be better than personal Valentines to and from everyone in the family! In fact, we might just take it up a notch, since there aren't too many of us here, and give other people this kind of Heart Attack! HOW FUN! Go HERE for the know how!

POTW HIGHLIGHTS: Job Balls, Bread & Plaques!

Last Friday's first ever Post of the Week was great! Thanks so much to all you that contributed! I got to read some fabulous posts! Now I get to share with you a few of my favorites and then encourage you all to go back to HERE to read the rest of them! Check them all out and if you like, let them know who sent ya! :)

Don't forget to share some of your faves from this week on tomorrow's "Post of the Week"! It is super easy!

1. JOB BALLS:
This one comes from NieNie Dialogues....it is hard to find a more inspirational woman! Love her!
We are always on a quest to find ways to "encourage" our kids to do jobs around the house!
THIS is a fabulous idea! In fact, I am certain I will be adding it to our job charts!

2. HOMEMADE WHOLE WHEAT BREAD TUTORIAL:
This one comes from MyR Made (mermaid). Oh, if there is one thing I want to master in this life it is
the fine art of bread making. Strange, considering I really don't like the stuff. That being said, I happen
to know the tutor of this bread making extravaganza, and she has sworn to make me like bread. She
makes a seriously AMAZING Hawaiian Bread! I mean, I REALLY liked it! Maybe we should BEG
and plead with her to do a tutorial on it! We should! For now, we can all feel better knowing that the
master of bread making has shared her secrets with us HERE. Enjoy! I know my family will!

3. FUTURE MISSIONARY PLAQUE:
This one comes to us from Somewhere In Craftland. A new blog for me! What I see, I LIKE!
Especially this fabulous idea! I am all over this! I love giving a visual focus for goals!
Putting the years Jake will be on his mission will be so great for him to see!
(And alarming for me, I am sure!)
This is FOR SURE going on my "crafts to make" list!

First Ever POST OF THE WEEK!

Everyday we delve into each others lives through blogs, Facebook, etc. I absolutely LOVE the opportunity to reconnect and keep in touch with friends.

More and more the blogging world is being filled with some seriously creative, motivating, fun blogs! We all have posts, like Melissa's in yesterday's post, that we read throughout the week that we totally love. It sparks ideas of things we want to try, do, or work on or gives you something to think about. I love sharing stuff like this. So, we are starting a little somethin' somethin' here on Friday's.

Here is the skinny.....

Each Friday, as long as want to keep it going, there will be a link party going on here! Each Friday you come here, click on the link in the post that lets you add a link to the post. It is super easy. You will simply click on it, paste the link to the post (not just the blog, the post. Click on the post title to get a page for just the post and then copy the address in the browser bar) into the area where it asks for it, name the link and follow the instructions. It really takes all of like 30 seconds. So easy!

After you leave a link be sure to check out some of the others for some fun creative ideas. They can range from recipes, crafts, money saving ideas, inspiration, motivation, thoughts, whatever! Whatever you want to share!

Links can be added all day Friday and Saturday. Each Thursday I might just highlight a favorite post or two from the previous week.

If you have a blog and you want to let people know that you are sharing a post here, grab a button and share away! The more the merrier!

Let's get this party started! Click below and share your favorite posts from this week. If you can't narrow them down, share a few! We aren't picky! :)

ENJOY!
